Brilliant! One of your best and high on my all time high list! I liked that it was simple, only you and Joe, packed with action, I felt your despair and humiliation. And I know how it is to have a Joe Parrot :-) I want to read more of your writing - this story is standalone - but you could spin on the same idea, and add new chapters. I loved this!
