"Where are you parked?" Linda asked her.
"Out at the station," she replied.
"I'm in the centre carpark," Linda nodded, "I'll drive you to your car if you like."
"Thanks," Maxine turned her head slightly.
They walked for a couple of minutes before Linda spoke up.
"Do you feel like coming back for a cuppa or do you just want to head home?"
"Sure, why not?" Maxine nodded as they entered the carpark.
Some fifteen minutes later she pulled up alongside Maxine's car and looked at her.
"All right, I'll see you back at my joint."
Maxine frowned as she started her car.
Am I doing the right thing tonight?

deepred53almost 2 years agoI love the depth of the characters you build in these stories. Having read all of your published works here, I feel familiar with many of those that share places or persons. It's another five-star chapter.
Maonaighalmost 2 years ago...I read this chapter at night when it was first published, meant to write a comment the next day and got sidetracked. So I'm just catching up now. As ever, it's five-star likeable and as always I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
