Well, I did not see that ending coming.

Daniel seems to have a life with many beginnings ... middles ... but so far no fairy tale endings. Seems to need a part 2 so he can end up with a widow with a child and a beaten woman with 2 small kids or what ever turns up on his next midnight ride.

There’s a good story in Daniel, but definitely needs another chapter. He’s clearly not done with Donna and it sounded like he wanted to also be supportive of Mark during his decline. Enlistment doesn’t sound realistic anymore. Now with the young mother maybe he ends up with co-wives after Mark is gone?

I like this one. A little quirky, a little sad, a little joyful. Hit a spot in my heart.
