I wondered who the "client" would turn out to be - and how Kate would answer for failing to provide the "merchandise " she had promised. To start by answering the question in the end: They all are Mistresses, except Kate.

Bobbi is, well, just because she is, but June and Pixie are also Mistresses to each other by mutual consent.

Matthew 23:12 comes to mind: those who exalt themselves shall be humbled, and those who humble themselves shall be exalted.

Both June and Pixie are exalted in more than one way, because they trust and respect each other to the point that no pride or personal preference stands in the way of objecting to their lover's intentions. They are amply rewarded.

As for Kate, she consented to submit only to salvage her repution as a dominant, but then she was humbled even more. Her only way out would be to embrace the catharsis and wholeheartedly accept submission. But that would be another story altogether. This story is about just June.
