And together, they stepped out of the Courthouse, and into the midday autumn sun. Alexa looked around, then looked down to Kat, who was smiling, still lost in thought. "Mistress?" she asked.
"Yes Kat?"
"Where... where do we go from here?"
As they started toward the car, Alexa turned around and faced her, looking the girl up and down, and smiling. "Home, Kat. We go home."

Nnnelsonover 1 year agoWow! Incredible story. I found it was a ride on a on emotional rollercoaster where it ended with a happy ending. I am curious how it all worked out a few years down the road.
