It takes several minutes for both of us to calm down. He lays on top of me, panting as he tries to catch his breath. I wrap my arms around him and hold him against my chest. I know that the tour group is coming back at any moment and that we need to get cleaned up and dressed before they get here, but I'm completely content to just lay here in the moment. Surprisingly, there is no guilt or fear -- just a deep happiness that I haven't felt in a long, long time.
This vacation is the best thing that ever happened to us.

A little rough at one point for my tastes - but that's a me problem and wouldn't keep it from being a great story for others. Looking forward to reading your other works.
