"You really do look incredible." Carter said as they sat waiting.

"Thanks." Lacey replied a little bashfully.

"They're going to be blown away by you. Like me. I can't believe you're my girlfriend. For the night, anyway." Carter added and Lacey smiled softly. "You look hot as fuck. I would jump you right now if you really were my girl."

This time Lacey didn't know whether to smile at the compliment or be offended that Carter, her fiance's best friend, had said it to her. He was so...forward now they were alone.

Instead the beautiful brunette settled on a non-committal noise, but Carter seemed to take it as a thank you anyway as he grinned broadly and placed his arm around her.

"What are you doing?" Lacey asked as his arm snaked around her shoulders, his hand draping over the one to hang near the top of her exposed cleavage.

"Just trying to make it look more like we're together." Carter replied. "They're hardly going to believe we're a couple if we won't go near each other, will they?"

Lacey couldn't argue with that logic. And she had said that she would do her best to convince the others that she was Carter's girlfriend. So she said nothing in response and just sat there with his arm around her, his fingers dangling dangerously close to her exposed breasts.

A few minutes passed with mostly an awkward silence passing between the two before Carter started talking normally. That seemed to break the ice a little from the oddness of having his arm around her and soon the two of them were chatting like friends again. That was when Carter began to touch her hand on the table and gently play with her fingers.

At first Lacey wanted to ask him what he was doing again, but then she thought that touching hands is what couples did so she let it pass and let him continue to play with her fingers. Even when he slid his fingers between hers and held her hand she didn't say anything, only held his hand back as if it were the most natural thing in the world for her to do.

It was a little strange to begin with, but then Lacey reminded herself why she was here and told herself to stop being silly. It was just hand-holding and having his arm around her. It wasn't like he was trying to fuck her over the table or anything! And so she relaxed and let him get away with it.

Finally, after ten minutes of waiting Lacey spoke up.

"So where are the others?" She asked.

Before Carter could reply two people walked over to the table with smiles on their faces.

"Hi! Sorry we're late!" Said the woman energetically.

"Taxi was late and there was too much traffic." The man added in as he and the woman took a seat opposite Carter and Lacey.

"Oh, that's alright, we haven't been here long." Carter replied, then added with a loving glance at Lacey that would have made any actor proud, "Besides, we've found things to do to occupy ourselves."

Squeezing her hand and his arm around her shoulders Carter smiled at her and Lacey, blushing a little at the insinuation, smiled back. She reminded herself that she was Carter's girlfriend tonight and this is how Carter would be with his girlfriend. She could play his girlfriend better than he expected. She had no reason to be embarrassed, it was just words.

"Babe, do you want to introduce me?" Lacey asked Carter before she fondly looked over to the other couple.

"Oh yes, sorry babe. This is Melissa and Baron. They both work with me and have been together, oh, about four years." Carter replied as he held out his hand to each of the pair in turn introducing them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you finally, I've heard so many good things about you from Carter." Lacey said as she held out her hand over the table to shake both of theirs. The hand that Carter wasn't currently holding on to that is.

"And we've heard so much about you too. But it's nice to finally put a face to the stories. Does she have a name?" Melissa asked Carter who fumbled over himself for forgetting to introduce Lacey.

"Lacey. My little Lace." Carter answered as he gently touched the tip of Lacey's nose cutely.

"Well it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Lacey." Baron said as he made himself comfortable, "And I hope you don't mind me saying but you are more beautiful than Carter made you out to be. And he embellished his stories so much that we thought no one could be as attractive as he was making out."

Lacey blushed slightly at that and smiled at the compliment.

"Carter does have a way of talking too much. I'm sure he exaggerated as usual." She replied as she glanced lovingly at her 'boyfriend'.

"If anything he undersold you. And that's saying something." Melissa jumped in, before Baron added, "Absolutely. We were beginning to think he was making you up with all of the amazing things he said about you. But clearly they were all true."

Lacey's cheeks turned a little more pink at the compliments and her smile deepened.

"He can be quite the story teller." She said in reply, squeezing Carter's hand.

It was nice having all of this positive attention, even if she didn't deserve it. No doubt Carter had made up copious amounts of things about his supposed girlfriend before he even thought of asking Lacey to pretend to be her. That she could more than live up to them all was a nice feeling. Lacey relaxed a little more.

"He can be that. But I think I'm going to believe more of what he says from now on now I know that he meant every word and more with you." Baron replied as he took a sip of water.

"I told you she was stunning. But even I can't believe how beautiful she looks tonight. She takes my breath away." Carter joined in with a loving and very appreciative look at Lacey as she sat next to him.

Once more Lacey smiled and blushed a little more at the compliment. She wasn't used to being fawned over even though Dale was no slouch when it came to making her feel stunning. But seeing the truth in Carter's eyes as he looked at her was even more of a compliment than what he had said.

"Takes your breath away, huh? I bet she does a lot more than that!" Baron joked and Melissa laughed at the obvious insinuation.

This time Lacey's blush was all embarrassment and she didn't look at Carter. For his part however her fiance's best friend didn't seem the least bit phased.

"She gets my attention every time she smiles, if you know what I mean." Carter joked back and the three of them laughed before he looked back at Lacey.

Lacey tried her best to laugh lightly too, trying hard to feel comfortable being talked about sexually with someone who wasn't her boyfriend. But then she realised that Carter was supposed to be her boyfriend tonight so she had to go with it. That helped a little and so did the way that Carter pulled her closer to him in a single-arm hug to show he was just joking around.

Leaning against him Lacey relaxed a little more and reminded herself why she was here. She was no prude and it wasn't like she was unused to joking around like this with Dale. She just had to focus on what she was pretending to be, otherwise the other couple would certainly pick up on it.

Deciding to relax and go with the flow, as Dale had told her to, she laughed a little lighter.

"I think they get the picture, babe." Lacey replied as she placed her free hand on Carter's chest.

"Oh we do! And now it makes sense why he is always saying he is having late nights. Do you keep him up every night, Lacey?" Baron joked and this time Lacey fired back before even a breath had passed.

"It's him that keeps me awake every night." She joked back and pressed her hand against his chest harder. It was only then that she realised just how solid Carter's chest was! She could feel his muscles defined beneath his shirt.

"Ho-ho!" Baron exclaimed excitedly as he leaned back in his chair, "From what I've heard of Carter here I am not surprised. You must be quite the happy lady."

Confusion and curiosity struck before sense.

"And why's that?" Lacey asked even as Carter squeezed her hand and tried to change the subject.

Baron only grinned at his friend's awkwardness and took a sip of water from his glass as Melissa looked at him with a grin.

"I'm not sure she..." Carter began, but Baron interrupted.

"Only that we know from everything Carter has said that he is rather well-endowed, shall we say. So you must be kept very satisfied." Baron interjected amusedly.

Lacey felt her heart jump at that and suddenly became aware of how close her hand on his chest actually was to his bulging crotch.

She had never thought about Carter's...dick...before, he had always just been Carter Allen, her fiance's best friend. But hearing that suddenly made her wonder, out of nowhere, how big Carter was supposed to be!? More importantly, she was caught now in having to acknowledge it - she was playing his girlfriend who would know after all!

For a moment she was on the edge of stuttering a response as she froze where she was. When suddenly she remembered that she was a grown woman and that she could certainly act her way through this! It wasn't like he had whipped it out on the table for her to see or anything! ...What size would it be if he did though for even his friend to think he was well-endowed!?

"He's very skilled in that department." Lacey replied non-committally, and even gave a secretive smile to Melissa for good measure.

The other couple grinned broadly at that and this time it was Carter's turn to take an embarrassed gulp of his water. Fortunately for him the waiter came over at that moment to take their order.

When all orders had been given Carter had managed to gather back some of his composure.

"Well, if you're all finished talking about my dick, maybe we can go on to more polite table conversation. After all, that big boy is all just for Lacey, and she knows how big and good it is." Carter said proudly and this time Lacey's blushing came from her curiosity.

She had known Carter was successful with the ladies before now. He had something of a reputation, in fact. But she hadn't known why he was so successful. She had just thought it was because he was a charming guy, as she knew he was. He was funny and handsome. She had no idea about his secret weapon. Now she couldn't stop wondering just how big he was and if he really did know how to use it.

"I get enough of it at home, so I'm ready for what's next." Lacey joined in as she took her hand from his chest and took a sip of her own water.

"So how long have you two been together?" Baron asked and this time Lacey looked to Carter for an answer.

She had no idea if he had made up an answer before this so she left it to him to answer the question.

"About two years, is it now babe? Something like that. But it feels like forever and a short time at the same time." Carter answered deftly.

Lacey placed her drink down and it was then that Melissa noticed the ring on her finger.

"Is that an engagement ring!?" The other woman exclaimed shockedly.

Lacey suddenly wanted to hide her hand as she immediately realised that she hadn't taken her ring off to come out. It was no surprise, she never took her ring off unless she had to so she hadn't even thought about it, but now how was she going to explain that considering this couple thought that she was just Carter's girlfriend?

"It is." Carter replied calmly, but from the look in his eyes he too was quickly trying to think of what to say.

"Did you two get engaged? And not tell us?" Melissa blurted out.

It was then that the answer clicked for Carter.

"We did. We got engaged just a couple of days ago. We haven't gotten around to telling anyone yet." He replied suavely.

Lacey instantly felt relief pass through her. That was a perfect answer. It got them out of it while also not jarring with anything he had made up about her being his girlfriend before this.

"Let me see!" Melissa asked excitedly as she held out her hand.

Lacey smiled as she extended her hand for the other woman to see her diamond engagement ring.

"He was such a sweetie. He bought me the most amazing ring. And he proposed in such a romantic way. On one knee and everything." She joined in the ruse.

"Awww!" Melissa exclaimed at the same time that Baron gave his congratulations to Carter.

"No one is going to believe us!" Melissa added as she glanced at her boyfriend.

"Mind if we take a picture?" Baron asked and Carter replied 'sure'.

Pulling her closer with his arm around her Lacey held up her hand to show her ring off as Baron took a picture.

She thought the worst was over, but then Baron spoke again.

"Let's get a picture of the happy couple kissing!" The other guy said in a request that was already expected to be met.

Lacey and Carter looked at each other with a mixture of surprise and worry, not knowing what they should do right then. After all, he was her fiance's best friend! She shouldn't be kissing him. But she had a ruse to keep up and if she balked now the other couple would know something was wrong. After all, what was a romantic kiss for a picture between an engaged couple? She had to keep the playing at being Carter's girlfriend going, but how?

Carter took that decision from her as he suddenly smiled and leaned forward, planting his lips against hers. At first Lacey's instinctive reaction was to pull back but her screaming mind said that it was already too late! That Carter already had his lips pressed against hers. And that she had to keep the ruse going!

Quickly reasoning that this was just a friendly kiss Lacey closed her eyes and pretended that she was kissing Dale. Only then did she finally relax and sink into the kiss. Her lips pressing against Carter's as firmly as his were mashed against hers, and she held herself there.

The familiar sound of a phone camera clicking told her that the photo had been taken, but just for a moment she held herself there as Carter continued to press his lips against hers. Only when he pulled back did Lacey finally, and slowly, open her eyes and look at her fiance's best friend. She saw the same confusion on his face that she knew must have been shining in her large green eyes, but there was a sparkle of something else in his eyes too - pleasure.

He had enjoyed kissing her! Even as brief and friendly as it had been. And Lacey had a little too - but she had been thinking she was kissing Dale, that was why. That was the only reason she had been able to relax and even look like she wanted to kiss Carter! Of course he would enjoy it though - she was a beautiful woman and he a horny, single guy with a reputation for womanizing. She quickly put that out of her mind however as she turned to look at the picture that Baron had taken.

It was a good picture too and the pair of them looked very much in love as they kissed. Lacey just hoped that Dale would never get to see that picture. She could explain it and she hadn't done anything wrong - and he had said just go with the flow and pretend to be Carter's girlfriend! - but even so she couldn't help but feel that kissing Carter had been a step too far.

But it had to be done! She had really had no other choice. Thankfully it had been Carter who had kissed her rather than the other way around.

Feeling a little better about herself Lacey relaxed back against the chair.

"Congratulations you two. You deserve it!" Baron said finally and Melissa echoed him.

It was then that their meals arrived. The conversation turned to when they planned on getting married, what kind of ceremony they would have, and so on. At first Lacey was surprised at how fluently Carter answered their questions. It was as if they really were getting married and had discussed all of this already! But soon she too was joining in with answers and the two of them spun a tale that no one could have picked apart.

It was after the meal while they were waiting for dessert to show up that Carter changed the subject.

"So how is work going for you?" He asked the other two, and Lacey looked over interestedly.

"Oh, you know, same old same old." Baron replied and Melissa nodded, "You're there for most of it and I'm sure Lacey has gotten bored of hearing about your work from you. There's not much different with us."

"What about getting engaged, have you thought about it?" Lacey asked, trying to find something to talk about.

"We've thought about it but we're happy as we are right now." Melissa answered, giving a warm look up at Baron as she did.

"Are you sure? We could make it a double wedding?" Carter joked and suddenly took his arm from around Lacey to slap her thigh.

Lacey just smiled at him and it was a measure of what she had been through already that when he placed his hand on her leg and left it there that she didn't blink or blush. She was supposed to be his girlfriend after all. No. His fiancée. She wouldn't feel out of sorts by him resting a hand on her bare thigh.

"I think your wedding will be big enough for both of us knowing you, Carter. Plus you've got to impress this fine lady of yours!" Baron joked.

"I'll already impress her on the wedding night." Carter laughed and gave Lacey a wink as he squeezed her leg.

This time Lacey didn't blush at all. Instead she just laughed softly into her drink. Again, why would his fiancée be bothered by his insinuation? And it was just playful really. Nothing to worry about.

"Never mind the wedding night, I think you'll impress her tonight!" Melissa chimed in with a secretive smile full of insinuation for Lacey.

Lacey laughed softly again.

"Oh he will." She joined in, the wine she was drinking going to her head a little. She felt good though, and even more relaxed now. It was just an exciting game to play to see how much she could convince this couple that she really was Carter's fiancée.

Melissa and Baron both laughed at that and Carter gave her an amused and knowing look as he once again squeezed her thigh before rubbing her leg gently. The feel of his fingers on her bare skin sent a tingling feeling through Lacey's body. This was Carter, her fiance's best friend, who had his hand on her bare leg. But she felt ok with it. This is what a fiancé would do, and it wasn't like he was raising his hand beneath her skirt. She could survive him touching her bare leg.

"Do you have any plans for the honeymoon yet?" Melissa asked and Lacey and Carter glanced at each other before once again Carter answered like they had decided this for real.

As he was talking Lacey drank some more wine and listened, adding bits in when she felt sure of herself which Carter wove into the story seamlessly. After a few minutes the wine seemed to go through Lacey a little more and she quickly interrupted saying that she needed to go to the bathroom.

Carter nodded without breaking his stride in his storytelling and leaned back for Lacey to squeeze passed. Lacey thought that nothing could stop this man from spinning a tale and that in the future she would have to watch out for more of his lies as she stood up and tried to squeeze passed, however Carter's legs were in the way.

Noticing the problem Carter stood a little and leaned all the way back giving Lacey just enough room to squeeze through. However as she did her tight ass, barely covered by the skirt of her dress, rubbed firmly against Carter's bulging pants.

For an instant Lacey froze in surprise before she could move again, however not before she had felt the large bulge pressing against her ass from behind. And large it was! Not to mention semi hard from where her ass was pressing against it.

It all happened in a heartbeat and Lacey was passed Carter before she could do more than take a deep breath. But she had felt it. Fuck she had felt that huge endowment that Baron had talked about earlier and her mind raced. How big was her for her to feel him through his pants like that? Without him being hard!?
