I like the way you are slowly building the relationship between these two people. I can only imagine how Annie's life would be affected by what happened to her. The only thing missing is some background on Annie, unless I somehow missed that. It seems like she had no involvement with men before she was abducted and tortured.

..but I like the way you're telling this story. Great job!
