Excellent this story is getting better and better. Louise makes a good vampire barb needs to be careful before she gets hurt. Also I'm happy for Louise and Kevyn they deserve to be happy. Maybe when this story is complete you can do a story about Jamie and Victoria. Continue posting you are doing a great job!

This series just gets better and better. I was so surprised to see the update I stopped working just to read it. This couple's story is so much like the BBB series and I love those! Excellent Kala!!

I don't like wishing death on anyone but please put barb out of her jealous and juvenile misery. Don't give her Thorne. She deserves to be poor as a church mouse.

I will never believe in her redemption. I like her for comics relief, when that doesn't work anymore, please kill her. Or make her really, really, poor, which is the same thing in her mind.

Lousie told Barb about herself and made her cry, but it wasn't enough that would make Barb change her ways. I wonder what Barb will be up to now and I can't wait to see Lousie as a full vampire. Barb has hate and jealousy issues like Lousie said to her not having man that has money and care about her, shes angry but when she would have that man she still wouldn't be happy. I think that Barb just like to see other people be put down and unhappy but when it's the other way around she blames everyone else for doings and why the way she is. But honestly I think Barb will not change and she is just getting on my nerves !!!

there is a beauty to the love shared by Louise and Nathan. And I do mean love not just sex although they definitely share a beauty there also. But it's the little touches, the hand holding and yes even the small kisses Nathan places on Louise's head that show the beauty of their love. It's Nathan taking some of Lou's pain when he feels she's got to much. And it's the trust Lou has in Nat and he in her that makes their love so beautiful. Now back to the sex.......it definitely has it's own beauty when you're able to share your whole self simply by dropping your shields.....The only truly ugly thing in this story seems to be Barb....I have nothing to say on that subject...just sticking w/beautiful things today!!!!!!

Barb has defiantly added a new dimension to this story as I knew she would. Kala, you're a wonderful storyteller and I can't wait to see what is in store for Barb's character. The introduction of the Yancy klan has brought about a new dimension to this saga that not often seen in other stories on this site. I am just going to sit back enjoy the ride, pretty much stay in my lane as the reader and acquiesce to you as the originator of the characters. At the end of the day this is your vision and we are thankful that you shared them with us.

Louise and Kevyn when will get it in your heads that Barb is selfish uncaring ho-bag. She is not going to change and your are going to be better off without her in your lives.

I was hooked from the start, and it's only continued to get better.

I'm having an inkling that with all of the other stories coming together so far, this series will too. Hmm... Kevyn, Louise, Barb and the rest are from Pittsburgh... Justine and the Queen Mother are from Philadelphia, mere hours away. Is there a familial connection there perhaps? That would certainly explain the various manifestations of gifts the siblings in this series have. Royalty might be in their blood.

Barb is sooooo stupid and selfish. I, as a reader, want an update at the end of each chapter because you have been ending with Barb being in a questionable situation or her doing something stupid;

But I have one recurring thought, I have read all your stories and am a serious fan. But how is it thorne and hans are able to ignore the mating pull so easily. I understand that barb is a horrible individual but isn't it something that can't be helped? But other than that 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

So glad Louise finally put Barb in her place because most times the least expecting person is the one whose words will hurt the most and that is what Barb needed! Happy that Nathan and Barb are solidifying more and more I love feeling their love and growth. Despite the lack of a complete breakthrough for Barb I am glad her sisters aren't giving up sometimes you have to kill folks with kindness and love since they don't love themselves...and lets face it Barb doesn't love herself it seems like she purposely put her rational self and feeling on hold why I don't know I mean there has to be something more to her story than I grew up poor she is way to self absorbed and determine to the point of wrecklessness. I am still sort of rooting for her breakthrough but she makes it so hard I love that she isn't cookie cutter but damn she needs to stop...lol

Barb is getting on my nerves, but it's funny that she can turn my emotions around because them I'm on her side with people telling her what to do. Granted she's in the wrong ALWAYS, but so what she's grown. LET HER FAIL AND FALL. I'm seeing no progress with her character yet, but alas she's frustrates the love in me for her..ahaha. I think this is the first story of Kala's that I actually skip through, so I can read about Barb. She has really taken over for me. I'm EXTREMELY curious about the rest of the Yancy Clan, except for Gene..ugh. I cannot wait until they are all there. I do like Thorne, just because he gives the Sinclaires conflict. I mean it's to the point right now with me, that I think can someone else not like these people? Besides the rape aspect the self-righteous or pious whatever you have it attitudes are starting to grate a lil bit. Hands down best writer on here because I never write a long as post or even post at all.

what pious attitude are you talking about? they're owning up to the fact of what they are and are tkeing steps so that it doesn't happen again. The rapes were mentionewd a few times and haven't been a focal point in this story.

Is their baby going to be a boy or a girl...or...twins? The rest of the Yancy clan coming out for the reception should be amazing. Will other Yancy's have abilities, Juliette, Leon, and Gene? I hope Gene doesn't. Most families have one troublemaker. The Yancy's have two. I thought you handled her turning well, and look forward watching her abilities mature and strengthen. Barb? What can we say about her. If and when she realizes her errors, it will be too late. Blackwell related to the Sinclair's via the selfish self centered Barb? How ironic and iconic is that. Something yells me the best is yet to cone.

At this point, I am waiting to see when Thorne is going to BUST this bronco bitch. Barb, like my grandmother used to say, keeps shittin' and falling in it!!!!

An extra strength can of old fashioned "Whup Ass Brand" needs to be opened up and I think the sooner the better, but this is, of course, left to the author. In either case, I know you will serve up a tasty dish.

She stays hatin' and is there really that intense a level of jealousy? I mean, the lucky gals are her sisters. Sho 'nuf is a shame that family can be so hateful of another member's happiness. I guess art does imitate life at times. She really needs to be brought to heel.

Looks like Thorne at least has some redeeming qualities in that he cares for his brother but Barb seems to have none. She doesn't deserve to have a wealthy man. You enjoy your riches if you can't count your blessings. I'm not sure if Barb can be redeemed at this point but I have faith in your ability as an author. Good to see Louise getting a back bone and telling Barb what she needed to hear. As far as Juliet, interesting how you are slowly weaving her into the story....hmmm. Seems like she regrets the way she treated Louise, could it possibly mean she gets a vampire of her own. I don't recall you mentioning a man in Juliet's life. Maybe Joseph? Should be interesting to see where this story goes from here.

The character Toni Childs from GIRLFRIENDS!....lol I mean right down to that mouth, attitude, quest for a rich man, emotionally guarded and humble upbringings. I just watch an episode and spit my drink out laughing because I couldn't help think of your character and the similarities. Your stories are definately memoriable.

She's blind to the best things in life because she thinks there is always something better. But I still wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole!

To stop reading this story. You've sufficiently made us hate Barb, so make this more Louise's story and leave Barb's and Thorne's under separate stories. But because you've got me hook, line and sinker, I have to keep reading.

I still think Gene and Barb to should be made to live together, penniless.

I somehow had a feeling it was one of he twin's man that Barb was trying to hit on and good thing Louise interfered because it was not gonna be a pretty site when Veronica was finished with her! Reading your stories is an adventure on its own! An incredible journey of passion, love, hatred, bitterness, wealth, etc. Nathan and Louise are an awesome couple. I loved how you brought together the families in this story. I missed a few though. If Barb can have a real change in attitude, it would be very interesting. I've fundamentally noticed the change in Juliette. Wonder how Gene will react to the wealth of the Sinclairs. Which women would not like to be loved and spoilt by a handsome Sinclaire! is available for all, we have to know how to love in order to truly love and receive the same. Barb has so many self issues that it jeopardizes her outlook on life and the a bility to live and love. When Juiliette comes and find love, she will truly lose it. Come and get her Thorne, quickly.

From personal experience I recognise Barb as severely narcissistic. A psychologist acquaintance characterised it as one of the most difficult disorders to treat, because the main behaviour is to blame all problems elsewhere on others, but recovery centers on the patient's acceptance of the responsibility to change his/her behaviour. According to my acquaintance narcissism has one of the the lowest rates of successful treatment.
