A widower/younger mommy match can work, I've seen it happen. Nice work, Sy. I liked how you developed the characters, which is hard to do in only 10,000 words. Some great turns of phrases, too, such as "...a rock against endless crashing waves." Nice imagery. Mandy is really a busy girl.

I wonder if the author is writing based on personal experience?

It is hard to write about loss in a sensitive and funny way.

This is a happy departure from him previous writings.

This is a wonderful story. If this Amanda is the same woman a in the other stories, she's just a slut. Hope it works for Amber and Frank and he puts 2 buns in her oven-at the same time!

Amanda is a slut, doesn't deserve her son, and with her behavior, should get knocked up in a gangbang and get an incurable disease. Frank should accidently knock up Amber, maybe with twins...

Why is the woman always referred to as the "slut" when the man sleeps around just as much, if not more?

Awesome , next time when Frank talks to Amanda and his Son-in-law the conversation would be around how soon he and Amber got pregnant with 2 children, while he and Amanda are still trying to get pregnant with their 2nd child. Then Amanda convinces husband and Amber, she needs dad's help in getting her pregnant too as her husband is shooting blanks nowadays. Author can extend the scope of this beautiful romantic story and include incest along with pregnancy as well

All those references to Amber being stacked, and she’s a C cup?! Still a great story.
