I'm really enjoying this story, Probus, a first-rate combination of SF and heroic fantasy. The monstrous kraken-god was worthy of any of Robert E Howard's creations (and the crew of heroes didn't even need Conan). I'm looking forward to what happens when the warrior Northmen clash with the pirate fleet. Excellent five-star material.

On that cliffhanger we will pause in our adventures on Mantua for a little while but for those who are interested and have stuck with this story thus far we will come back, hopefully later this year. As my bio explains I mostly write for my own pleasure so I am working on another series as well as some other stories at present but I do have some ideas for the next stage of Mantua. We will return!

I write stories mostly for my pleasure with a plot-line and I prefer stories which have believable motivations. My main focus seems to be erotic horror, somewhat inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, but I do write in other categories, too. Yes, I know tentacle-monsters etc. aren't real...
