"Honey, you jiggle just right," I tell her, heading into the bathroom and starting the shower. I take a shower; Dani never comes in. I get out, leaving it running for her. I grab a towel, start to dry off, and look out at the bed. She is passed out. I go out and gently wake her up. "Hey babe."
"Huh," she says, looking at me groggily.
"You fell asleep, honey. Want to shower?"
"Yeah, be right back," she says, getting up and taking off her pants as she heads to the bathroom. I hear her get in the shower, rinse, and the shower turn off. She comes back with her hair not wet and just drying her legs. It looks like she just rinsed the girls off. She climbs into bed, and I join her. She cuddles up to me and promptly falls back asleep. I smile and snuggle closer and fall asleep, too.
