I really want to b**ch slap Regina. I understand all she went through is a bit much, but at least she can be more appreciative. Maurice deserves someone who loves him.

While I understand what she went through, she being unfair to everyone concerned. She really needs to forgive and get over it already and be more open-minded. her family needs and misses her and she has totally shut them out of her life. Its not like they did something to her on purpose. I really don't understand her frame of mind right now. She has a man who obviously wants her and she is shutting him out over this. I understand all the screaming, yelling and the resistance Regina has shown us so far but maybe this time she should have an internal struggle instead of taking it out on the people, like Mourice, that have helped her stay alive.

this is the first chapter i read, but I'm intrigued and want to go to the beginning.

So Regina is stubborn and very reluctant. She's actually more realistic.

You can't expect everyone to be thrilled and openly accepting of vampires and Gremlins being "real." And she didn't just casually meet one. Her two brothers are vampires, her best friend and cousin is married to one, they are responsible for killing her parents, meddling in her life... on and on... and now one is in love with her and wants to marry her. She's conflicted.

Delgado needs to court her, let her get to know him outside of the drama that occurried in New Orleans, and win her over.
