I read this and Under My Spell, and liked them both. For some reason, I found this one to be a little hotter, based on the female perspective, I guess. Good job. The idea of two separate stories with different perspectives is clever.

I normally just tell stories from an omniscient narrator's perspective, and describe the emotions of both characters simultaneously. My motto is, "If any character has a sensual thought, the reader gets to hear it."

That said, the 1st person perspective certainly makes the story more intimate.
