A gentle side to brutal times.

An easy read that I relate to, in many ways.

Could write a similar story from the turn of this century. Though, our wars, were fought in far off lands, and the very attitude of society and the law, have changed so much.

Back in the days of this story, there were many unusual couplings. Sisters and brothers..but I stray, from this wonderful story. Well done.
