Although the author writes at the beginning of this chapter that it really isn't necessary to read chapter 2, this reviewer politely disagrees. Chapter 3 really doesn't make much sense without reading the previous two chapters first; it is not a stand-alone store. That said, this story stands out for the sheer quality of its writing, and chapter 3 is the best yet in this passionate romantic drama. Five stars
