I love THIS line SO much:

every couple weeks I'm reading some nothing jerk-off fic like, yknow, no offense, but This One, and there's some moment of introspection in it that's like "hang on, this author's actually really smart, I've had feelings like that in real life!" I love this totally unnecessary pause the narrator takes to think about his self-image and how other people see him. it's fun, it's naughty, it's grounded, it's great! you're great!
