It was so difficult to get invested because the main characters (I viewed Wendy as a bit of a supporting character throughout) felt like caricatures of the best and worst qualities of people in this situation. It didn't feel at all organic, it felt like the author had all the aforementioned qualities in a hat prior to writing, pulled them out and the result was Tracey getting all the bad ones and Dave getting all of the good ones. As a result, it didn't feel real. It didn't quite feel like satire but it wasn't far off.

I agree that Tracey deserves some consequences, she should wind up broke since it becomes clear money is all she cares about(Contrary to what my comments may have led you and other folks to believe about me, i'm not against consequences, i'm against Over The Top consequences) but there's a broader picture here. Some people won't truly be satisfied with any story unless the wife goes through hell. Those are the people I cannot figure out, I cannot comprehend how people could wish such evil fates on women that have just been unfaithful to a spouse.

They haven't committed murder, they didn't leave a baby in a car or anything like that yet because of one infidelity they deserve every STD and let's not forget that the guy they cheat with always has a bunch of them as do all the others she's sure to fuck now that she's just a gutter slut. The momentary hesitations, the wanting to fight clean from the protagonist felt manufactured, like those things had to be in the story but the author maybe didn't want to put them in. Everything felt very one dimensional, despite the length and the court sections to try and mix things up because in the end, the court was all about how awesome this guy is and how evil Tracey is, even going as far as having a judge almost lose his impartiality because the case is so one sided. In what universe does a judge almost "embarrass themselves and applaud"

After watching the disc the husband grows a set of balls and either sells his slut and her lover to some seriously fucked up S&M freaks or kills them both. It lost points for 2 reasons...#1 it wasn't finished, FTDS and #2 the story was like most of the others, the wife was a cheating slut, and didn't care if anyone knew. At least then Kyle would get to BTBs in the above ending.

Only gave it a “2*” but it could have been better if there was a Part 2. Story just fades into sadness — there are lots of possibilities. The subtitle is inaccurate—should have said she “re-discovers” being bad. Being a slut was not a new experience for her; she had just tamped in down for awhile. Money or no money, main character seemed too meek, bad lover, etc. etc. He should have been a little more man; the set up here made it way to easy for her to decide to cheat. I did like the way she was just evil and not that she was a good person who got shot with the Martian Slut Gun. Any Part 2 ending would work as long as it’s some form of BTB. Lethal is good; I liked the idea of Kyle killing them both. Even better would be killing Chris and framing Sarah for the murder. Or get Chris fired, get offer to get job back, but tell the boss to shove the job. Enforce the prenup and move to a new city and don’t look back. Maybe an epilogue where the now unemployed Chris tracks Kyle down and attacks him but loses out to Kyle’s .38 (or .45 or 12 gauge or whatever!)
