I've been following this series for a while. I thought the earlier episodes were more enjoyable because they were more fun and more believable. I think the author missed an opportunity here to get Ken to tell Jim about Jenny's performance on stage. Maybe that's coming next.

I hope the author doesn't get into too much gratuitous abuse of the wife, Suzie. The author is signaling that the narrator, Jim, is a bit concerned about what's developing here, so looking forward to finding out what's next.

Not much fucking in this story and finished too quick This is the problem when you have one like the Birthday Party the best then you have set the standard then us old men what the best all the time and do not even write. Hopefully, part 2 blows someone's balls off
