I love seeing your name as the author, Excellent storyline, very well presented. I could see a part two and hope you might consider it. Definitely five stars.
Good story! I guess time will tell if the the reporter is good wife and mother material.

Deftly rendered quick-sketches of Alicia, Dana and Boyd, with a splash of wry humor to keep the story light and amusing. I enjoyed it. Thanks.
I really enjoyed this. Your intro suggested this was going to be unoriginal and I beg to differ as I thought the work-obsessed wife was a welcome original storypoint. Everything flowed well. Characters were fleshed out and consistent. I can't find anything in this story to improve. 5 stars.
Another excellent story by the author. I loved the cheating wife. So often writers in this genre fail to show us the motivation for the cheating spouse to cheat. Here we have a character for whom the cheating is almost incidental to the drives in her that cause her marriage to be destroyed. Believable and really well written; an easy 5 stars.
I always enjoy your stories. This had a reasonable plot and a romantic ending. Nicely done.
I so enjoyed this story. Well balanced , interesting characters ,and a light touch covering a harsh subject
Extremely well written. It seems you have a knack in developing a character within what seems like a paragraph! Personally I think the sex scene/dialogue detracted a great deal from the story. I know this is a erotica site. To some erotica can be reached clothed or naked. I see by your library you have written across the categories a feat not possible by most LW writers. Thanks for sharing 5&FAV&FAN
Sure, it made for a tailor made news story which made the divorce easy but, it almost felt like the affair with her new client was gratuitous.
The premise was already established that she was a work junkie who put her marriage and family a distant second. Why not pursue the story from strictly that angle?
Once the video of her fucking her client leaked a bit of follow up how she was dismissed as his attorney, how her sparkling reputation was damaged, etc might have been entertaining.
All that said, a reasonably entertaining LW story.
Very good and well written. Personally I would have liked to hear what happened to the wife after the big exposure but still a great story.
That was truly excellent. Realistic, no hyperbole, well developed characters and not drawn out. Nicely done.
Great dialogue and character development. The wife got what she really wanted, but not all she wanted. Would have liked an epilogue about the Senator and his trial, though. Hopefully the SOB goes to jail, but probably not.
As far as new ground goes...someone once said there are only 36 plots in all of literature (some say fewer) so the decorations are the only new element of any story. Your decorations are lovely.
I loved it until the end. He should have pointed out that he would be trading one 'driven' professional woman for another if their relationship were to reach the next level. She admitted earlier that she was putting her career first. She just moved up from a major journalism position to television. At her age (though it was only alluded to) that isn't where most careers end, it is a stepping stone to a major news gig.
It would have been a sadder ending, but a lot more believable one.
I still gave it a 5!
Alicia made her choice and reaped her reward. How will it work out for Boyd, Dana and Mikey - he'll still have two media-driven parents? They'll have to work hard to make it work. Thank you for posting it.
Alicia's PoV and an epilogue would have added to a well written story.
Anyway, good writing.
Hell, do a mini-series of stories around the MC, and toss Dana in there as well! Well done!
Very good story. 5 stars, the Bear approves. I know, you've heard that before. But this was a good story. The guy was a standup guy and a great dad. The bitch was stupid. She threw it all away. More, please. A second part, or a point of view from Alicia as Mightyheart said would be good. Thanks.
The BEAR
Always a good read - Would have liked a bit more to see where their relationship went, what his ex thought, and interaction with his son, but I'll take what you give us! 4.6*
10 Big Blazing Burning Stars for a very well-written story by Bh76. Thank You for the Effort my friend, Thank You very much. I know putting a story together is a lot of work. Especially when it is of such fine quality as have done here. I really liked that the Hubby Divorced his cheating ass whore slut wife for cheating and for putting her work before her marriage. I can't say that I have ever had a woman put her career over me. Usually, it was just other men and their dicks. LOL Regardless, it was well written and I really liked it. thanks, Buster2U
I agree with other commenters. This story was excellent. The MC was a nice guy and a good father despite being modeled after Rush Limbaugh right down to the cigars. You had enough humor to add spice to the story. Nice mix of everything. I think you should follow with something from Alicia, but I'm not sure how you would do that without it being anti-climactic.
A part of me longs for retaliation on the ex and governor but the other part enjoys reading about the frustrated pain the MC goes through, sort of like life. Well told, easy five
Liked it, but dropped off a little quickly. What happened to Alicia or the ex-governor? Karma was mentioned, but we never got to see it served. Maybe a part 2 to tell us how everyone faired a year after the divorce?
That was entertaining. Missed a few chances for a more detailed telling, but it played well. Thanks for the effort.
Worth the read Bh. The Mc was spot on almost all the politicians try to steal our wives , our money and honestly our sanity.
Thanks for sharing...
A good read, you have a talent for tempo & flow, although the story-line was too compressed for my taste. 4*
I still felt like we needed the wife's ending, too, what happened with Alicia, it's not just one side, it's both parties, I feel like that is something that is sorely missed sometimes is the closure of both parties, not just one side. Like how is she reflecting on losing control and not being able to go back to how it was like the description says.
Really good, but more than just one phrase about her ponytail might have worked....
Just a touch more sensuality would have been great.
Listen to me, being all critical....
Good story!
Excellent quality, better than most anything I've read on literotica.
She chose and her words were empty.
I wonder if a motion to drop her from defense team would prevail?
Very good. It is often the husband who works tremendous long hours and is never home. She refused to listen so she pays the price.
Great story!
Workaholic career woman make incredibly shit wives. There's nothing less appealing than a "boss babe".
In my opinion,
it seemed that this story is full of not-so-intelligent characters.
I mean, David Bridges didn't think an iota what a crap show it will be if he hits on a radio talk host's wife?!
Oh, it reminds me whatever happened to Bridges' career after the infidelity? The author left it out what happened to the snake (or maybe I skimmed over it). I mean Boyd would have a monstrous ratings on his show just showering Boyd with negative comments. And Alicia, man, this was suppose to be a highly intelligent lawyer but it just took her a week to open her legs to Bridges (martian slut-ray at work?)? She knew Boyd is not going to accept her late hours easy -- but infidelity??!
Really?!
/
Then Boyd, he didn't knew what a snake David Bridges was? A popular talk show host doesn't know? Heck, he runs with the journalists circles day in day out and he didn't see a red flag waving?
/
Still I give this a 4-star because I'm loyal to writers I like.
Thanks Bh76 for the effort and sharing your story.
Realistic, dramatic, perfect amount of angst. No wimpy response, no Navy Seals, no silliness.... stellar effort. 5*
A simple story, well told with great characters. A pleasure to read, thank you for posting.
The behaviors and reactions were a little extreme as a premise. Seems they weren’t compatible from the start so hard to lament the end of their relationship. Couldn’t tell if the cheating was just a late tack-on to reinforce all that or part of the original thinking.
A walk along a well worn path in a well known forest can still be a lovely experience.
Simply superb. Emotionally genuine characters, a knowing grasp of the way the world works, a deft and economical way with description and setting, truly adult behavior and dialog - you, sir, can write. I wish I could give you 10 stars for this great story.
Very will written! The plot was kind of easy to follow and from the start I could see where it was heading. Would have liked to see what happened to Alicia and her POV on what happened, but we can't have everything. Again well told and keep entertaining us.
All in all a very good blend of a story, even though without any surprises at all. 5 stars, of course.
David Bridges is not a "them". Please learn to use pronouns correctly...that's assuming you aren't a woketard, gender theory moron.
Interesting plot. Some good character development, but the plot needed deeper character development to do it justice.
Very good brother, really flowed well, dialogue excellent, I got engrossed in the story and it just flew until I was disappointed I was at the end.
Well that was really good but I wish we could have seen the fallout for the villains.
Great pacing author!
Nice story, but some info on negative fallout for the “ bad” characters would have improved it slightly
5 stars. I would have preferred some form of revenge if even the cheaters leading miserable lives, but was warned by the opening before reading it.
Good story, and I loved the political tie in. Doesn’t much matter which party, they are all in it for themselves and nothing more. What comes first, cheating with your time and priorities or dropping your drawers? Dead heat tie! One of the very few 5’s I have ever given in this genre.
I enjoyed the story and being nothing else is nearly as good today, went back for a reread. One thing I wondered about. The MC said he'd have liked to do 'something' to Bridges but could not because of his security. I know you mean physically, but the Boyd had a public forum. Hell he had a national audience. He could have made Bridges a 'project' and give him a shout out every time he got on the air to remind the people what an asshole the man was.
If you write a sequel, you might want to consider that.
Good take on a workaholic spouse. I quite like this stogey smokin hottie, thought she might flavour the cigar Lewinski style!
Good story! I know it's not really Alicia's story, but she doesn't get to give her side into the record or make a defense. Were these two ever really that committed?
Very good story and nicely erotic with the interplay between Boyd and Danna. 5🌟
I loved it. There's no reconciliation but no burning the bi*** either. Many authors advocate for the reconciliation but this story shows what is likely really to happen: the cheater will keep cheating. Once a cheater always a cheater. Or like in this case once a work alcoholic always a workaholic (and cheater).
It was an incredibly selfish and immature decision for the MC and his wife to have a child at that point in their relationship. The wife persistently had shown her career was her top priority, and the MC had to file a divorce petition before she "agreed" to stop accepting legal clients and to persue pregnancy. Who possibly would have guessed the marriage was not likely to succeed? Who would have anticipated a child would not be the answer to this couple's difficulties? Surely not a husband who, "loved to keep her on her toes. She was a control freak, and I relished the times I could throw a wrench in her gears." The reporter turned TV host should keep looking for her first serious relationship. The MC is a poor choice for that role.
A fabulous story with lashings of drama and humour but it was a pity that his ex wife vanished from view after the divorce because her behaviour and the exposure thereof raised a lot of questions that I would have enjoyed her squirming to address.

Isn't it funny how the David Bridges of this world always get the blame for marriages going up in smoke?
Dana tells the MC that the failure of his marriage is all on Bridges because he's a known pussy hound who was also fucking the two other female attorneys. Don't women have a choice about whether or not they allow themselves to be seduced? Isn't the fact that Bridges has his fingers in all the pies all the more reason not to fall for his dubious charms? My wife gets hit on a lot while she's going about her daily routine and if "I'm a married woman" doesn't send the would be Lotharios packing a sharp "Fuck off and leave me alone!" gets the job done!
So good. Really like that story started AFTER he had issued divorce papers on Alicia previously for her behavior. That made him pulling the trigger quickly a lot more understandable the second time. That she also committed adultery so quickly affirmed the proposition that she was never wife and mother ready. That she didn’t loudly deny it when he said this was probably NOT her first fling spoke volumes.
.
Getting together with Dana was problematic in my opinion. But since she quit her job to take one very similar to his, maybe it can work.
.
The last conversation bwteen him and Alicia was too brief….but enough.
.
5 *****
Good story, but I didn't like that there was little to no fallout for the lying, cheating wife Alicia, with her reputation and her job.
And there was way too little emotion or angst expressed during the end of the marriage. Some people think this was realistic. I don't see it.
And no suing the law firm or her lover?
It would have been interesting and well deserved if he used his radio show to get back at his wife and her lover, especially as it was all over the news anyway.
Lastly, I would love to have seen a post-nup after she was served the first time and promised to change.
Bebop3 had it right... Nice concept, good storyline, and fair characters. The length of the story was great but there were some holes or questions NOT answered. What ever happened to Alicia, his ex-wife? Did she ever get remarried, or continue her cheating relationship with David Bridges? Did his campaign fall apart because of the affair and did his own marriage end in divorce too? There was no revenge or BTB, but this was a satisfying conclusion to a well written tale... But maybe another chapter from Alicia's POV would be a nice addition....think about it.
