The term is Tenterhooks not Tenderhooks:

and a pretty good job of writing it. I have to agree with the earlier comment, however -- "tender hooks" is cute, and your meaning wasn't lost, but what you meant was "tenterhooks." There were a few more: I'm sure you are 'defiant,' but the word you want is 'definite.' And peace and piece sound the same, but I think you meant the other. Anyhow, good job! Let the next one rest a day or so, and then re-read it, or enlist some proofreading help. Also, comma usage -- or, lack thereof -- could use some work. Keep 'em coming. Anon
