I read some of my book but put it down after twenty minutes, folding over the page where I started because none of it had gone in. My mind was awash with the events of today and I could feel my skin tingling from what I expected might be a mild sunburn. I gave up when I didn't find the TV remote instantly and went to bed. I guessed I would be up all night but I was whacked and woke to my alarm at seven-thirty.
