There's a possible loophole here. Amy can take the moment of clarity and use it to shout to Matt about what was done to her. Since the morality exception doesn't extend to the witch, Matt would be horrified and try to resist. Presumably possible since he wasn't subjected to a proper conditioning. Of course, that's a lot of ifs.
