What model F-18? it is actually the F/A-18 they are presently flying F/A-18E's----taken off--how about "Catted-off" or "steamed off" directed to parking---how about "marshaled off"---------how about he was "chocked, locked and cocked"----his last sentence seems a bit muschy---ending is good-but it didn't work --the reader could see it coming--twist it a little bit---good job/a good read
