Loved that you choose to continue the Edgar and Mary story for the 750 word contest. I really love these two characters. On to the next.

They were in glum, war-bedraggled London. People in that era would have either turned away in embarassment or stared at the spectacle. There would be no "An Officer and a Gentleman" applause.
