excellent beginning

This first chapter in Open Mic Night is a truly engaging and compelling story. The love scene (apart from the drug use) is marvelous, although rather too short, as is this first chapter. There are a few errors in grammar, but not many, and not enough to detract from what is a truly excellent beginning to this story.
