She was interested, that was for sure. She was also as suspicious as hell, not trusting me, especially after what had just happened. She dithered for a bit, unable to say yes or no.
"Tell you what. Come around to my place in the morning and you'll be able to see for yourself the sort of workload I've currently got. That should prove to you that I really need help. Anything else we can work out. Roll up at my place at nine. I'll pay you for the day and we can work out the full terms of your employment once you decide."
I departed, feeling slightly irritated. She'd be a useful asset to my business but I might have shot myself in the foot by spanking her. I guess I'd have to stress that spanking in the work environment was strictly forbidden.
