I liked that the transport guards were decent sorts, just doing their jobs. You demonstrate that this kind of story can be told well without the non-stop sadism that so many authors indulge in. Thanks. Although I assume that there will be at least one sadist in their future. Looking forward to reading further adventures in penal slavery.

Interesting still. As someone said no sadists yet but the correctional direction and facilities are old world but dressed up in modern technology. After what's happening to t hem can they ever return to vanilla life?
