Author's Notes: Hello and welcome to my first attempt at the sci-fi genre! This story began as a simple writing exercise to overcome some terrible writer's block on my main series, Lost Bloodlines, but quickly transformed into a full project. This will be a fairly self-contained series, and I've already got perhaps half of the total chapters drafted, so I will try to get those out on a monthly basis as I work with my editor. For those still waiting on the next LB chapter, I promise that it is coming, I just felt the need to give this project the full attention it deserves before returning to my main series. I hope you all enjoyed this humble offering of sci-fi futa, more is coming. I welcome your feedback and constructive criticism!

All the hallmarks of Lost Bloodlines are here, with the added bonus that this universe has been painted in tantalizing depth for an overture in media res. I honestly don't remember the last time I read a goo-girl scenario that came off as bona fide horror—this teases at what Trials in Tainted Space could have been if the writers aimed for a proper story instead of hardcore pornography. If -this- is what comes from writer's block, you shall never want for foundations. :D
