I guess there is nothing worse then being called a mare when your a pony girl. I know she deserved it but it was still sad.
.
Cheers
I would love to see you explore clover becoming severely depressed and the carers working with her to overcome it.
Much as I'd love to explore depression and how crippling it can be. As I've experienced it, I feel like no matter what way I write it, it may rub people the wrong way. It's the same reason why as a transgender individual, I try to not write trans characters because despite living it, the risk always remains of people getting upset at how I've portrayed it.
Excellent as always
I for one am imagining more of a struggle of repentance for Clover. Perhaps guilt taken too far, where her self-confidence is destroyed and needs to be built back up?
One thing I hope we get to see more of is pony to pony interaction. So far it's mostly been pony and trainer interacting. She got some good teachers, but she's a little light on friends.
Can't wait to read more, been reading since the start and only discovered the other stories a week ago, please write more. ☺
I'm a little curious as to the perspective change.
The latest instalments don't really get us inside Clover's head anymore, which is a little disappointing.
Hard to really follow why she suddenly went loopy.
Still good though. Could have lots of good stuff on her road to redemption (so long as she isn't sent away, which I really hope she isn't)
I appreciate all the amazing feedback everyone! I do feel she's lacking in pony-friends and that is something I do hope to work more into in the future installments. It's something I'll keep in mind and perhaps expand a bit more on Daydream as well since people have been asking.
As for the perspective change, or at least the emotional shift. It's something I guess I will have to flesh out a bit more. It's borne from Clover's ego getting ahead of her, losing herself in the thrill of 'being the best'. I apologize if it's not the most clear and will work more to help include her internal monologue and why she is acting the way she is. <3
Her time as a mare definitely would be a good time to work on her emotional state (not like she can do anything else lol)
Hope next instalment(s) is/are coming along nicely
The story is continuing! But progression has been slowed slightly due to my being in school and work. More is coming <3
What could be more important than contnuing Clover's story? ;) :D
(Just a joke)
