I liked your character development. The use of the term "shithole" was a bit of a turnoff for a romantic story, but hey, to each their own

Really a good story--I actually wept when reading how he he learned the truth; having been a pudgy nerd myself, I easily identified with him. I was a little disappointed that he took her back, however--she absolutely did not deserve it. Using someone for so long, and lying to him in a manner that struck at his innermost values and self-regard was despicable. I really don't think I would have let her off the hook. Despicable.

A very interesting read. Really hits the teenage mentality and behaviour pattern well. Keep up the goidwork
