Great relationship development I don't normally read sci-fi but this is ace!

Definitely a good chapter. Lots of emotions raised. I think you meant make Dex seem more sympathetic? Mitch had too much emotion to be sympathtic or not sympathetic. You did a great job of meeting your goal of dealing with the emotions that a man in that position would face. Also with Dex having to start dealing with his past. He really hasn't dealt yet, more like let it all come up. I love the vulnerability you have him show despite his position as Captain. I look forward to the next chapter! Great job

one other thing...I give you credit for taking on such a big topic as domestic abouse with Nate/Sten. It's a tough topic to deal with and a super important one. It was brave to take it on. GOod luck with that.

I understand why Mitch would be upset but you have to feel kind of bad for Dex

Thank you all for the feedback on this chapter I'm really proud of it. My writing is improving and the story is taking on a life of its own; even I don't fully know how the story will end for Dex and Mitch.

I did intend for Mitch to be more sympathetic. He's the one facing the surgery and the other chapters still left him with out a well rounded personality, both confident and vulnerable.

As for Dex I wanted to keep his shyness and start to have him face the feelings from his wife's death. I also wanted to maintain Dex's military persona that also is a big part of his personality; Dex's programing to follow orders contridicting his grow love for his companion. Those feelings I'll explore more in the next chapter.

As for Nate and Sten I'm going to include their own little sub-plot that will cross paths with Mitch and Dex as the story continues.

I'm happy you guys enjoyed Chapter 3. I will post Chapter 4 in the next couple of weeks.

As the title states, I'm loving this series. It's awesome. I love the plot. Guys getting pregnant? Hellz yeah! Mega hot! Although, I do agree that your grammar could use an editor's special touch. But please, keep going! I can't for chapter 4 to come out!
