All Comments on 'Queen's Gambit Ch. 02'

I just read the first and second chapters of this story, and they feel almost like they were written by different people.

That isn't an insult, mind you, just an observation. I realized that the stories were published roughly 6 years apart; you must have changed somewhat as an author in that time.

The first story was like dessert, while this feels more like candy. I'm not complaining, mind you. I like both quite a lot. Honestly, I tend to enjoy candy-style stories on this site most often.

I hope Mia doesn't get hurt as a result of Matt's actions. If he leaves her, that's fine... But I personally hate cheating stories, and because of chapter 1, I already feel like I know her a bit. Either way, I'm interested in reading more.
