I related a lot to your protagonist. I have also studied Kung Fu for most of my life. Recently (i.e. before Covid) I was also exploring other martial arts in town, playing dumb so I could try and learn different techniques. Your descriptions of Chi, strategies for fighting, and general vibe all sound like a bonafide martial artist.

I love 'Zorro' and his sense of justice. He looks for evils in the world and rights them, including fun casual, and supportive sex with his sad coworker Sara.
