Road Tripping Pt. 09

Readers, this a fictional road story set in the 1980's, before cell phones and the internet as we know it today. All sexualized characters are fictional and over 18. There is pot smoking in this story. I hope all enjoy.

Lou, Molly, and Sara slept until just after the dawn began to light their tent. In a moment all were awake and running behind the tent with the nearest bathroom too far away this early. It was too urgent to have any contest, and all were just happy to make out back in time. Lou passed over the roll of toilet paper he had brought with him along with a pair of shorts he was putting on.

He went to check the clock in the dash and finding out it was only 7:15 they had time for a wake and bake before going out for breakfast. By 8 am they were debating French toast or Waffles and at 9:30 they were pulling up to Star and Joe's campsite, sharing some coffee's they brought for them after going to the grocery store for all they needed for today's cooking.

They all sat around talking and smoking with Joe, Gina, and others, talking about the show last night and what songs they felt may be played today. They were careful not give any hints about their pre-show shopping plans. Star and Joe would be only a few sections from Molly since she was alone this show, and they would try and hang out together. Sara and Lou were not on the same level as her and were too far away to sneak over and join her. All hoped they would be able to get the 4-pack of tickets for the July shows so they would all be together in the shows. Lou was hoping to hear from Max within two or three weeks about the tickets he had ordered.

Joe and Lou were talking about the ride ahead to Chicago and then California after in the next two weeks. Joe and Star were going to Denver in between to see Star's sister and her family before going onto LA. Lou was still planning his southwest swing into Arizona to hopefully dig some petrified wood and maybe catch a music festive in the southern part of the state if they had a day free to do this before the final drive. If all went well for them on the road there, they should have a day for digging and one for dancing.

Lou had shown Joe where they planned to camp near Chicago and Los Angles and Larry said he would try and see if he could get any reservations where they were, but camping was very tough the nearer to the metro LA area you were.

The women all took off for the "Woman's Shoe Sale" that they could not miss around ten. The back of Andromeda was completely stuffed with their coolers, clothes, camping equipment and tent so it was a little tight and they said if they had enough time, they would run grab Lou at the White Castle and drop most of the stuff at their nearby hotel room.

At eleven Joe led the caravan out of the lot to the White castle to meet up with all and see if April was waiting for them. The women had an hour to try all the shoes they wanted Joe had joked while Lou said, he still had most of the hot dog money on him with a smile, knowing there were no shoes being tried on unless they were more for pleasure than comfort. He kept his grin under his Fu Manchu to himself for the ride, chatting with Celesta and Barny who had wanted to ride in Andromeda to the shoe store too. Three-year-old Europa's green eyes were buried in her favorite picture books when she was not looking out the window from her child seat.

Molly and the wagon full of happy, laughing women pulled into the Stores parking lot behind the back next to Donna and Maggie's van. They hoped to be done before the men went by but also did not want others to recognize Andromeda there and ask Lou questions he was not allowed to answer.

"Cool we all made it," Star said as Donna led the way into the store.

They kept Sara in the middle of the group in case there were any real perverts in there although there was only one other car in the lot when they pulled in.

Happily, there was only the clerk in the store who was very glad to see all of these sales walk in this early on a Tuesday morning. He greeted them with a smile and told them that right now they had the store to themselves and asked if they had any questions, as all the women were laughing and smiling and began to fan out around the store in small groups.

Sara and Molly began to walk around the store getting an idea of what they actually sold in a place like this. Both had only seen adds for places and items that they sold aside from the condoms and some oils. Molly doubted you could get most of the videos at your local Blockbuster looking at the titles and pictures on the video boxes.

Molly got see Star deeply blush when Gina held out a large double ended dildo to Maggie asking about any ideas for this while she held up a set of handcuffs.

"Hey Molly! Maggie called across the aisle, holding up the handcuffs, I'm still planning to kidnap Lou at some point soon."

"I will come to rescue him in a day or two, and bring Sara to keep Donna off me, she said with a laugh. I won't arm wrestle for him, but I have other skills to win him!" She puffed up her chest and tried to be five foot eight up to Maggie's five foot eleven, laughing the whole time.

"Or maybe I will just let you keep him a little while, then Sara and I will be over with the popcorn to see how he is doing. What do you think about that Sara?"

She just laughed and spoke. "It all sounded good to her except for trying to keep Donna away from you Molly if she wanted to get you." She doubted the simple throws Molly had taught her would work on either of these women because of their apparent training.

This was only Star's second time in a place like this and the first time with her mother, who was finding all kinds of interesting things to add to her unusual relationship with her two husbands. It took her a few minutes to overcome some of her own shyness about what she planned to get for her and Joe. It would be a late anniversary presents for them.

The clerk for the store, Roy, who was obviously gay, had a good time with the women in his store watching how much was going into their baskets. He did take Molly and Gina aside at one point and let them know that Sara was welcome here, but he could only sell her condoms and oils, unless she had an ID saying she was twenty-one. He also added that they could buy her anything she wanted, and he would say nothing. He just had to follow the letter of the law and did not want to embarrass her.

Molly thanked him and went to talk to Sara who was looking at the large racks of single condoms and pulling a few for them to try later tonight or soon after she hoped. Both women shopped around and first they found Sara a nice pink vibrator a little thinner than Molly's, and with three speeds.

Molly was one rack up looking over the selection of strap on harnesses and the various toys that connected to them. Some looked more difficult than saddling a horse to set up, but some others looked to flimsy.

Maggie came over, seeing Molly looking over the rack she was at and told her which one to try since this was her first one and she showed her one that had three sizes of vibrating dildos you could attach to it, and it was not to complex a rig to put on. Maggie asked who it was for, and Molly said all were going to get a chance to try out the vibrators and it looked to be adjustable enough that Sara could wear it as well.

Maggie was now debating to herself who to kidnap first between Lou or Molly. Sara was just too young and small to play the games she wanted to, although if she was with both of them, she would be welcome but her and Donna would be careful of her size and still fragile self.

After about thirty minutes all were done shopping and running their purchases through the register. The clerk was very happy to have over $400 in sales to start his Tuesday shift. Star had seen some crystals for sale at the counter and left a card with him to contact her if they would be interested in purchasing some of hers, showing four of her examples worn by herself and others there.

Molly got the Strap-on set up with the medium size vibrator which was close in size to the one she had. Sara got the pink vibrator she had seen and four singles of condoms, one flavored in strawberry. No butterscotch on the rack. Both got two kinds of oils to try out tonight if they wanted to or in the future. Next time Molly would bring Lou with her she told Sara.

All of the other women left with wide smiles knowing they and their partners were in for many good days and nights ahead with all they had purchased. Star and Gina hid their purchases under the seats of Andromeda saying they would get them later today while the other ladies made plans to retrieve their items from Donna and Maggie's van. They arrived at the White Castle ten minutes before the men pulled up.

The women made up a story they all stuck too about the shoes all being high heels and business shoes none of them really needed and the few they tried were not comfortable, but they had coffee and a snack while out they said.

Lou, Molly, and Sara made a quick run to the hotel to drop off the camping stuff and their toys for later quickly before returning hoping they were not late and did not miss April. They had left a description of her and her and Randy's cars with Star and Joe in case they showed up. Lou got them back just in time to join the tail end of the line leaving the lot and were told April had not been there.

All arrived together and were set up and selling their food within ten minutes of parking in the quickly filling lots. It was cooler than the day before, so it was jeans and jackets for now, maybe skits later if it warmed up and the clouds went away.

After things got settled down in the first hour Molly and Lou went up front to smoke a bowl after Joe and Sara had just shared one.

Sara was having a fun time selling food and talking to all the people she met. Molly and Lou were sharing several deep shotgun hits for a first private moment today. While getting three hot dogs for a couple, another woman came up to her asking if this was Lou's station wagon and if he or Molly were around.

Sara could see the resemblance to Molly at once but said nothing as she went to knock on the window and let them know someone was looking for them.

Both were a little stoned, excited, and red-faced as they stumbled, coughing from the front driver's side door to see April standing there with her hands on her hips, breaking out into a laugh. Molly ran to hug her, and she looked at Lou and said in mock seriousness. "What were you doing with my precious, innocent, Hot Pants up front in your battle wagon?" Laughing the whole time at them.

Lou and Molly both blushed a little as Sara laughed along. Hearing the exchange Joe and Star came up to April laughing and introducing themselves to her, saying Molly had said her mother would be here and they were happy to meet her.

Introducing Sara to her mom, April sensed at once that she more than just a friend to her and Lou and that she had traveled with them to New Jersey from Harrisburg. April then introduced Randy who was just catching up with her carrying the chairs and some food. Twenty-eight years working as nurse had made April a very fast mover through crowds.

April asked Lou how he and Molly were doing out on the tour, as he made them some meatball sandwiches. He said they were doing great before Molly cut in saying the same thing and "Sara was a friend who they had helped out in Philly, and she had come with them to these shows since Lou already had the extra tickets for both shows from a trade Joe had done for others before they even met Sara. Lou had gotten three singles for one of his spare pairs, so it worked out good for him and he still had an extra single for one show May and another pair for mid-June out in California."

April told Molly and she had ordered four tickets each for three east coast shows and she was hoping to get the tickets in the next week or two like Lou was. She asked if they were still doing ok with the money discreetly?

Molly told her quietly. "We are still good and even up a little since we saw you last if you figure his unemployment in, and I haven't touched mine. I've only bought a few meals and some clothes for Sara when she needed them a few days ago after we all met with only a little of the cash I had when we left. We are good through at least the end of July and Andromeda has been running great for us the whole time. We just got her washed and waxed yesterday after driving ten hours the day before and saw one of the guys from the carwash just before you got here."

"My crazy kid, I don't blame you going on this trip, how do you fill all the hours in your day up it must get boring?"

"No Mom I have hardly had any time to just lay around a read or anything like that. We seem to be almost always busy and there is a lot of driving. Tomorrow we are driving to Harrisburg Pennsylvania to drop of Sara then we need to get to Chicago before noon on the day after. It will be about 900 miles Lou figures in two days starting around seven AM tomorrow morning. It will be fun even though Sara will have to leave us for a while for her job but we both enjoy the ride and the time we are together. Most of the time we are just sleeping at the camp. We are exhausted after a long day in the lot and then in the concert after."

"I'm sure you guys all just sleep in your tent," she said with a laugh before moving near to her so only she could hear her.

"I know you Molly and I know you and Lou are in love, but it also appears that You, Lou, and Sara are all together. Is that correct? I will not judge you, Molly. I guessed about you and Debbie before she had to leave, and I hurt for you too even though you could not say why you were so sad. I understand more than you know, and looking at Sara, who's back was turned to them. April winked at Molly saying, she is very cute, and I assume Lou is ok with all of this? So, was this your idea or his?"

"Mom, why don't you, me, and Sara all go smoke in the car and let the men cook for us for a while so we can all talk." Molly called Sara to join with them while Lou and Randy talked and sold some of the food enjoying a beer on the clearing day.

April sat between them as Molly closed the door, curtains, and popped down the ashtray showing four rolled joints and Lou's pipe inside.

Before Molly could grab one from there April was lighting one from her purse saying "I've been wanting to smoke since we left home two and a half hours ago. Fucking New York traffic!" She exhaled and passed it over to Sara who smiled and took a hit.

"My God! Seeing you two on the seat together I see the Mother Daughter thing. Too Cute! I look nothing like old Gin and Newport's breath."

April let out a laugh and her second hit, thinking about her "Aunt Gin and Pall Mall's breath".

Passing the joint across to Molly again she added, "and you are both so cool." Looking into both of their eyes at once.

Now April turned to Sara and in her sweetest voice. "So, Sara how did you meet Molly and Lou?" As she began her gentle interrogation. Molly was an adult, but April was still a mom, and she was concerned she had guessed wrong about Lou, and he was collecting a harem or something?

Sara then began to tell her how Molly had found her at the last show in Philly while Lou was away teaching a class. She had basically saved her from either being abandon in the lot at the arena or having to go in and sit with a guy who had drugged and raped her and likely had other plans like that for her that night with her sister and some of her friends having set her up.

Molly took her in when she had been thrown out of the car in the rain without her coat for not going along with the plans and doing a lot of drinking and cocaine before the show. "They were all now very close friends and Lou had been very good and respectful to ALL!" She emphasized for April.

April interrupted her giving her a sudden deep hug saying, "That's horrible what had been done to you and what it appeared they planned for you that day!" April's years in the hospital told her that she would have been lucky not to have died from what could have happened!

"Sara, you said your sister was involved, are you safe at home? If you need a place and they are not around I've got a spare room Molly used to use." She added trying to lighten things a bit.

"Seriously though, you are a friend of Molly's and things could get bad for you and if they are not near enough to help you, get out and hop a bus or whatever to wherever is safe, and I will get you. There is a place for you if you need it. Molly is usually a good judge of character."

Sara reassured April that she felt she was safe and Molly from the other side in a slightly chilling voice told her, "The rapist had been delt with and punished with the help of many including Lou and Joe, and the all the others had been warned NEVER to Fuck with Sara again!" They then silently clasped hands across April, looking into the other one's eyes, their crystals gaining a little sparkle with the day.

"I am happy to hear that filth like that has been appropriately punished, knowing Molly's sense of justice! I can tell on many levels how close you two are. Don't worry Molly or Sara, we are all adults in here and like I told Molly earlier, I knew about her and Debbie in the past and I both understand and don't mind because I've been with women too. It's just that the world around us is too hung up on a bunch of stuff that is really no one else's business!"

Lighting one of the joints in the ashtray and passing it to Molly, April continued. "It appears you and your friends have a little freedom to be yourselves and not just having "Game Nights" with friends and keeping the bedroom lights off in case old nosy twats with Spiders in their Cunts are watching out their dirty windows!"

Molly's eyebrow was almost into her hairline at the revelation her mother had just given about her and her friends, and how they always made sure to have "Game Night" at a house where all the kids were out, no matter the age. Made Molly wonder about a few of those "Bridge Games" too.

April added looking at Sara smiling and all high, looking back at both of them added. "For the record, if Sara wasn't a year younger than Patty, I would think she was Yummy Too, Hot Pants!"

Sara laughed and Molly first turned a bright red then let out a laugh figuring there was really nothing to hide here and why not just enjoy being closer and finding out just how much more alike her had her mother really were. Mom did read a lot and liked Star Trek also.

"And Pussy"! Now she realized, fascinating on many levels she had dared not consider. It would not have been her time first stepping over that line, but this was too fuckin close to home! It also meant that Randy was a little more interesting too. He had always been a decent guy to her mother and Molly and her sisters in the eight years he and mom had been together. Their usual game night friends Karen and Marvin were cool for the most part too.

Neither April or Randy wanted to get married again or felt any need to. Was he just as open as Lou was in their lives, and had they explored like they were planning too? Molly's mind was racing as the joint and the conversation went back and forth. April turning to address her in a more serious tone brought her back to the conversation.

"I just want to make sure no one is being used or treated badly."

"No Mom, Molly assured her, Lou is good with all of this, and we are all being careful!"

"I don't want to be a grandma again soon or an aunt! Looking over at Sara, I hope you are still taking your pills everyday Molly, and you Sara, are you being careful too?"

Sara was a bit surprised by the directness of her question, but she could understand her fears, knowing she had met Lou already and she liked him as a match for her daughter. "April, I just went on the pill too a few days ago, but we have been using condoms. I don't want a baby any time soon, believe me! I'm just getting to know myself and I don't want a kid before I'm ready and have a good man of my own."
