This was very well balanced. Good character development, good plot, good dialog. The story just seemed to flow and if there was no trauma and the conclusion was easily predictable that's OK. Sometimes it's alright to flow with something pleasant and enjoy the trip. 5*
Hi Sister Jez, you have crafted a totally realistic tale, with all sorts of interactions with rellies and separated partners that tend to get in the way of a new relationship between these 30-plussers.
Well done!
I look forward to your future tales.
PS: As you may have noticed, I live across the ditch from your abode.
... The way it's told is rather "uninvolving".
Personly I prefer stories where you're actually watching and listening yourself, rather than (like this one) reading a PI report on their activities.
I enjoyed this story, even if it was predictable, as some have stated, it was a very comfortable read. Got a kick out of Leroy having to jump off the bed and head for parts unknown. The ending was better than some in that we were left with the understanding they would live happily ever without having to lay out their future in one or two little sentences. Another five stars. Thanks
Sign me up, Nursy Jez!
My mother and hers were both nurses. :+))
I confess. I don't run. Maybe we could exercise in other ways?
Sweet story.
Thanks!
I have an incurable propensity for enjoying stories wherein
nice people are nice to each other!
