The next morning she woke to the squeeze and press of leather and metal against her neck. Half dejected and half provoked, she had no idea how to feel, dared not even begin to touch herself in search of some sorely-needed relief. She found the message waiting for her:
"To our dearest servant-pet,
We were both delighted with how things went last night, on the occasion of the first full month since our finding you. Your contribution to our appointments so far has been thoroughly enjoyable, and much appreciated. Truthfully, you have fulfilled every one of the hopes and desires we had when embarking upon this journey.
We are unanimously of the opinion that your services, and yourself, are very important to us. We would therefore like to retain them on a more intimate basis going forward: would you consider doing us the pleasure of moving in, to continue your duties full-time in our household? We would of course make you warmly welcome.
We realise this may seem sudden; however please be assured that we have given the matter much serious contemplation. Naturally we would not want to compromise the current arrangement that has been a source of such joy to us if you do not feel fully able to take us up on our offer.
