Thanks for sharing this interesting, relatable, well-written story. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The way you’ve written this has me convinced it’s a true story. That’s beside the point, though, because either way it’s a very sexy story. It mirrors a fantasy of mine, one that often pushes my over the edge if I need a boost during sex with my wife. In my version we’re on a film set and the crew doesn’t know — or sometimes they figure it out. Thank you for writing this.
Actors and Real Life
Actors create an on-stage image that becomes separate from themselves as they are in real life. When the curtain falls, Robyn and the young male actor can meet in his dressing room to "chat[] as if nothing had happened on stage." It doesn't mean that they can't have fun in the process
This does not mean a spouse or girl friend would necessarily be quite so understanding. Dix spins a fascinating tale in "On Stage."
At Home and On Stage
It must take an extraordinary individual who can keep real life and the script separate. The actor works in a fantasy on a daily basis. So too does a spouse or girlfriend. That's probably why so many Hollywood marriages break up, but there are also long lasting marriages like Carleton Heston's. The gossip columnist love the glitz and scandal. We don't hear much about those who withstand temptation.
