Really good, different take. Like H. Rider Haggard with sex. You have really caught the tone/style of that kind of writing.
More please, and soon.
Thanks.
The Mountains of the Moon are officially called the Ruwenzori - which means 'Rainmaker'. The permanently snow clad peaks are invariably hidden by mist and the area is glacial.
This is a mountain rainforest and virtually permanently monsoonal. There is no dry season. There is no jungle nor leopards and access is virtually impossible as you are trying to cross bogs where you will end up waist deep in mud.
The range was not created by volcanic activity.
If you want to use so much geographic detail, please do some research first.
...reading a story I don't care if the details are correct or not... if I want correct details I'll read a history book.. ignore the lose comments... and contine on with a good sexy story...odie
Everyone commenting on the use of H. Rider Haggard's hero story and ignoring the references to Egar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan, John Clayton/Lord Greystoke. The sex does add spice to the story and I will be looking for more of this story.
A promising beginning. I think this one will be as good as your "Menace of the Red Planet"
I loved reading this adventure. This is going to be a great start for 2006
