I'm as into the shame kink as much as the next guy, and there are many hot points in this story. But I feel like its a bit too dark, mean spirited. And while other guys might be even more turned on by it because of this, I could only find myself disturbed by the other characters constant berating and abuse of Patty, especially with Derek starving , using, and leaving them. It just pushes past the point of kinky shaming for me and into the area of abuse. You're a very good writer, but I don't enjoy the constant beat down on the character we're supposed to be routing for. But if that's just what you're into I guess, go for it! Maybe it's just not my thing
