Sia was still jet lagged and I was drained from being up all night.
"I love you, Sia. Goodnight."
She turned her face and placed a gentle, sensual kiss on my lips before turning back.
"I love you too, Fara. Please never forget that. No matter what happens, okay?"
"Mmmmhmmm." I responded, no longer having the energy to talk.
The last thing I remember before drifting off was the sound of Sia's breathing, slow, deep and rhythmic and the smell of her hair in my face. The feel of her pressed into me once more and the security of knowing I had finally found my place. That I had finally found someone to accept me for exactly who I was.
For some, their destiny is right here at home. Mine had been waiting for me in Australia.
