Some of the dialog sounds like it was written rather than SPOKEN.

Some was too descriptive.

In other words, not at all conversational.

Write what you want them to say, they YOU say it aloud and write how you actually say it.

Excellent and very believable story, and the baby monitor provided an interesting voyeurism option. Please continue with chapter 2, they still have some time while snowbound, plenty of time for the two women to explore lesbian fun, and who knows, perhaps they would insist that the two guys get together for a little bi experimentation too.
