Thanks for the positive comments on the first version of this story. So, here's the deal. I put two versions of this story up as part of the 750 word challenge. Once the challenge is over I'll chose the one which did best and write it up as a full story . . . I already have ideas as to how to fill in the gaps that 750 words leaves out.
