This was very touching, beautiful story! How could someone hurt someone as precious as Eric. I eve feel protective of him. I hope Eric’s rapists get punished and that the orphanage’s staff is disciplined and jailed for neglect. I went through MST (Military Sexual Trauma) myself in military and the affects last you…mentally along time. Keep it up. Please give Eric and Martin their happy ending! And, that Eric heals and thrives. Maybe, Eric goes back to school and gains more confidence. Martin sister meets and takes to Eric and becomes his protector and good friend as well. I would like to see Eric and accept to see him beat those demons he still carries inside! I hope Eric is done with heroine and he will also be accepted by Martin’s coworkers and family. Martin should continue to support and be patient/kind. Let Eric be himself but watch out for him. Trust is to be built and nurtured by them both. I hood Eric’s dealer never gets out of jail! Great story. Please write more and make this more than a 2 part series. These characters have a lot to tell. Those people in the murder/suicide I think wee Eric’s parents. Where were the other family members to look after Eric. Eric was that tiny baby!

I love how Erik and Martin are meant for each other! And I love that they actually have real life dilemmas and worries, nothing is too easy and too quick, as in life... rarely is.

Very interesting story, it's hard to find slow burns without sexual content thrown on us from the first page. It's nice for a change. It makes the story less of a porn smut and more of a real romance/erotic gay book.

Lately all I read on Literotica are just porn smuts with senseless fucking. Thanks for writing the story. I wait for the next chapter.

A very beautiful, interesting story about the experiences of people who met by chance and liked each other. You're great at keeping the atmosphere, the pace, and all the action of the story. I really liked the person of Martin, who is understanding, caring, and both masculine and having his own opinion, what is needed for a real doctor and human being. I identify with Erik, many of his experiences, experiences as if taken out of my own life. Erik is a wonderful boy. And the story doesn't have to be full of sex, pornography to read it with bated breath, and not be able to tear yourself away from it. Thank you Estecz for a great story and I'm waiting with great interest, impatiently for the second part and even more stories about Erik or such. Interesting story. Sad and inspiring at the same time. I’m eager to see their relationship develop but it’s clear they both are drawn to each other and have deep feelings they need to sort out. I have my theory on how the initial flashback pertains to the current story so I look forward to seeing if my guesses are correct. Thanks for this chapter and eager for the next.

Id really like to see these two continue to heal erik and grow their relationship. What is the connection between the story in the beginning and the two men? It was clearly martins parents who found the baby. Did they keep it? Or was the baby they found Erik? Please tell us more of the story. Erik needs to grow and maybe do for himself and not just take care of martin only

Loved this story, thank you. Repeating some of the previous comments, it’s great to find a story that builds slowly and it fits these characters that there’s no sex (yet :-)). It is erotic though - I like the little touches when Martin stokes Erik’s hair for example and of course the shower scene. You could have made that much more explicit given they are wearing wet shorts- but I’m glad you didn’t. I would love to hear what happens next.
