No offense to the editor, but try to be a bit more mindful of if a word is correct. They are, I'll admit, some of the trickiest errors to spot, but aloud doesn't mean the same as allowed, as one example.

The story itself is good, nothing super unusual for the start of a werewolf series, but there's hints of what will come. I like it quite a bit and can't wait to read more.
