'Fuck that' I thought. You would have never pulled that stunt at Ms. Thorne's place and I am not going to be responsible for you screwing this up for me. I heard Lilly move up behind me as I closed the door and turned to see her watching out the window as George and Farah pulled out of the parking lot. "Will she be alright?" she asked in a quiet voice.
"Farah has been dealing with George longer than you have been with me and she seems to be handling it. I will talk to Ms. Thorne next week about it if that makes you feel better." I told her. I was planning on doing that anyway, I had a few questions of my own.
She turned and hugged me, her head nestling under my chin despite the heels that she was still wearing. "Thank you, and thank you for tonight."
