Susan owes it all to John--er, I mean Joan. Personally, I'm hoping that Joan is sold to a sadistic mistress to help him atone for his sins. Surely, a university graduate would know that free rent and an interest free loan were going to have a cost. One should not gamble with money that one doesn't have. Good story
