Yikes, a never ending stream of misunderstandings and mind games from previous partners. Obviously Claire would have told Kane that Alias lied about where she was going and that she went to meet her ex.

Good chapter but I felt let down by the mind game ending which is a bit lame. I don't understand why she didn't just tell him who called and why. I mean they are right at the beginning of what will obviously be a complicated relationship and their lying to each other already. The threat was to both of them and she just decides to take care of it herself. That's going to piss him off no matter what else happens.

Please do NOT let this be the final story! I love this series!
