TBH I have become more retrospective after the death of my wife of 25+ years in 2017 - hence incorporating people, places, things, and events of my past into my stories.

I like to think of myself as a 'less murder-y' version of Brett Easton Ellis (American Psycho) with the references.

Speaking of events, Bobby meeting Colleen mirrors when I met my friend Scott (also at The Riv) and I did guess 'The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down'...and no we didn't start dating.
