Luckily, Maggie had endured enough of my struggling attempts to string speech together when I was flustered to be able to roughly translate to the other girls. "I believe what Ronin is trying to say is that he somehow used telekinesis to get the glass of water he is holding in his hand from the dinner table where it was earlier. He was thinking that maybe it was like what Sheila had done in the funeral home and he wanted to verify. Does that about sum it up Ronin?" I just nodded mutely. Remember, master of words...
"And what exactly were you trying to test this on Ronin?" Since the bra was kind of in a pile of shed clothing, I guess that it was probably not clear to Cammy what I had been concentrating on. I started to reply, complete with gesturing, that I had wanted to try to get Maggie's bra when all of a sudden, something soft and lacy struck my hand. I looked down to see Maggie's black lace bra sitting at my feet as though it had been there the whole time.
The sudden movement of the unidentified flying lingerie caused all of the girls to shriek. And even as I felt the material of the undergarment hit my fingers, I could also feel the slight drain to me that I had missed previously. I stared numbly at the bra, wondering what it all meant. And that was when Auntie C cleared her throat and made all of us jump.

Ogfy7 months agoInterested to see where this goes and how some of the storyline will play out with previous chapters that setup some things. Noticed one small detail, that kinda confused things in the story. When they originally left to go to the funeral, Candy checked out of her room cause she was moving in with Ronin. But later when they returned to pick up their tools and stuff, Candy still had her hotel room that she had previously checked out of in a previous chapter. That's the only flaw I've seen so far, minor detail that most would not even pay attention to. But as an avid reader on this site, minor details are everything on a story. But enjoying the story and can't wait to see how the "curse" plays out and a meetup with that hot detective? Maybe a wedding for Ronin and Candy?
